We know from a Lds pedigry file that the Robert Huddleston born 1690-1694 that was probably born in Spotsylvania County was born in that general area. Spotsylvania County was formed in 1720-1721(depending on what source you check). From the birthdate, Essex is a possiblity, since it was formed in 1691. Another alternative is New Kent county or one of the earlier counties. New Kent was formed from York in 1654. Old Rappahannock from Lancaster in 1656, ceasing to be a county name in 1692, when two counties, Richmond and Essex, were formed from it. King and Queen was formed from New Kent in 1691. Essex from old Rappahannock in 1692. King William from King and Queen in 1701. Spotsylvania from Essex, King William, and King and Queen in 1720; and Orange from Spotsylvania in 1734. It is not yet known who this Robert Huddleston born 1690-1694 and died 1739 father was. There is a Robert Huddleston born 1720 with wife named Elizabeth born 1723. There is a Robert Huddleston born 1734 who was probably born in Saint George's Parish(could be Saint Mark's Parish, since it was formed in 1734). The Robert of 1734 was married to Elizabeth Carter born 1738. Her father was Joseph Carter mentioned in the sources. This Robert married Elizabeth Carter in 1759 at Saint George's Parish. Getting back to the Robert Huddleston of 1720, he had 3 sons; John born 1742, Robert born 1743 and Thomas born 1748(my Line). They are listed in the sources and through FamilySearch.
